FUTURE OF FORESTRY GIG POSTER

C.S. Lewis wrote a poem called "The Future of Forestry" that served as the inspiration for this name of this ambient rock band. In designing a mock gig poster to commemorate a particular show, I focused on the imagery used in Lewis' poem: "How will the legend of the age of trees / Feel, when the last tree falls in England?" I also tied in the concepts of rebirth and new life, both themes found often in the band's music.

This poster was awarded a Gold AAF Advertising Award in the student section at the national level in 2015. I was honored to attend the ceremony in Las Vegas to receive the award.
